Mains Hall has been investigated many times over the last 5 years and whilst most ghostly 'others' do not always perform at will, we still continue to try to capture something really unusual on camera, video or EVP.

Just a small selection of some of the more unusual photographs taken here at the Hall.
The ubiquitous ‘orb’ photographs are always going to be contentious – everyone has an opinion and I am open to your interpretations of each.
The moving one is quite interesting as I did sense something in this spot and snapped 2 consecutive pictures, the first one you see here moving, the second shot immediately following, shows nothing.
The larger orb like shape on the stairs we often get in this area, again, its quite large and ‘see through’ - any theories ? And again, I always try to take two consecutive shots whenever I snap away around the house - second shot is clear of any ‘dust’ fairies [joking].
The large orb and smaller orb in the Tudor room we get here most often. I have lots and lots of shots of this area of the wall and window, nearly always with some of these little [dust] devils! Why…? - except that this is the exact spot that Lily is seen most.
The blue streak is the one most paranormal investigators get excited over - its, well, it’s blue! But what is it?
The orange blur on the grand staircase is something I did send to a photographer friend first for an opinion - they could not offer me a photographers interpretation on this so again - any offers ?
The lady in the attic photo is the most disconcerting I think. What can you see ? I have had lots of people see something else next to her - can you see it too – let me know if you can ?
